Cedric Coward - Commits to Duke Coward (shoulder) has announced his commitment to Duke ahead of the 2025-26 season, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Coward, who continues to explore opportunities at the NBA level, has chosen the Blue Devils as his desired destination should he return to college. The 6-foot-6 senior, who started his collegiate career with Eastern Washington, averaged 17.7 points, seven rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.7 blocks across six games with Washington State this past fall. Coward missed the majority of last season with a shoulder injury, but the Blue Devils have decided to take a chance on his high-end upside potential.

Impact Having entered college basketball as the consensus top recruit going into the NCAA's 2024-25 season, it is safe to say Flagg delivered in that regard. Duke remained a top team thanks to his 37 starts that include 19.2 points, 7.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers made on 48.1/38.5/84.0 shooting splits. He is only the fourth freshman to be named Naismith College Player of the Year, joining Zion Williamson, Anthony Davis and Kevin Durant, all NBA All-Stars. Flagg is projected to join Williamson and Davis as the No. 1 overall selection in an NBA Draft, all that remains to determine is which team will win the lottery to get his services.

Tyrese Proctor - Declares for NBA Draft Proctor has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Rothstein indicates that Proctor will forgo his senior year of collegiate eligibility. As a sophomore, he logged 10.5 points per Duke game. Then projected to be a late selection of the 2024 NBA Draft, Proctor re-enrolled at Duke. As a junior, he recorded 12.4 points and 2.3 three-pointers made per game. Despite his third season's 68.0 free-throw percentage, Proctor also shot 45.2 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from deep. So now, there is at least an adequate chance he is a first-round selection.

Even though Duke teammate Cooper Flagg got most of the spotlight, he sat out most of the ACC Tournament, and it is his fellow freshman who stepped up. Kneuppel averaged 21.0 points and 5.7 rebounds en route to Duke's championship win. During the 2025 NCAA Tournament, he recorded 15.0 points and 2.0 three-pointers made per game on 53.7/55.6/91.3 shooting splits. Kneuppel will be a first-round selection.
