Powers Houston's upset bid Cryer contributed 26 points (8-14 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal over 40 minutes during Saturday's 70-67 victory over Duke. Impact Cryer posted his second-highest scoring total of the tournament while matching his single-game postseason high in three-pointers made, helping keep the Cougars competitive early despite things looking very bleak. While Emanuel Sharp was the hero down the stretch, Houston wouldn't have even been in a position to make a comeback had it not been for Cryer keeping the Cougars within reach. He'll likely need another big effort Monday in order to keep up with a red-hot Walter Clayton and a surging Florida team.
