Impact Copeland will follow his head coach Will Wade from McNeese State to NC State. The point guard started 24 games this season, averaging 9.2 points, 3.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists. He should be in the mix to start at guard for the Wolfpack next season.

Impact Copeland will enter the portal following a single season with McNeese. The former Syracuse transfer averaged 9.2 points and 4.5 assists per game for the Cowboys this past season and helped lead the team to a first-round upset over Clemson in the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot-6 junior will retain a single year of eligibility at his next destination.

Leads upset win over Clemson Copeland totaled 16 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-10 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Thursday's 69-67 victory over Clemson.

Impact Copeland was very productive in Thursday's upset victory, highlighted by his 16 points and five assists. He also gathered seven rebounds for just the fourth time this season. His performance was not without some concern though as he turned the ball over seven times -- his most this season -- and made just six of his 10 free throw attempts. On Saturday he will look to lead the Cowboys to another upset win over 4-seed Purdue.
